 ℹ  Information: Clipadoretus habibi, is a desert species that was described by the King of the Emirates in 2017. The type locality is Nazwa, Dubai.

Body length: 4,8 - 6,2 mm 
Peak activity: September - October, March - May (June)

⚠  Remarks: Clipadoretus habibi, is a desert species that is rare locally, mainly in the Emirates. It is actively attracted to a light trap.
Our observations have found that the species will fly to the light trap in a peculiar circling flight and immediately fly away.
Name derivation: ‘Habibi’ is a Syriac-Aramaic and Arabic word whose literal meaning is “my beloved” and also has the meaning of friend or darling; noun in apposition.
